Opportunities to Serve at Trinity

There are a variety of ways to serve at Trinity!  Some service opportunities are ongoing, others are seasonal or event-specific.  Where is God calling you to serve?

Ushers and Greeters

Ushers and greeters play an important role in creating a welcoming environment for both members and visitors at Trinity. They help people feel comfortable and supported before, during, and after each service.

Their responsibilities include greeting attendees, distributring bulletins and other materials as needed, assisting with seating and needs, and collecting tithes and special offerings.

Music Ministries

The Chancel Choir is open to anyone who enjoys singing and wants to be part of worship through music.  No auditions are required. Just a willingness to participate and share your voice.  The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings.

The Bell Ensemble is open to those who know how or which to learn how to play the bells.  The Bell Ensemble rehearses on Wednesday evenings.  Contact the church office to get in touch with Greg Otis, our Worship Arts Director, for more information.

The Praise Team leads our congregation in singing some more contemporary selections.  The Praise Team worships on Wednesday evenings.  Contact the church office to get in touch with Greg Otis, our Worship Arts Director, for more information.

Special Programs, such as the Christmas Program, Easter Program, and Honor Flight occur throughout the year during which you may wish to join the Chancel Choir for a season or offer up your own musical gifts.  Contact the church office for more information about upcoming opportunities.

Thanksgiving Dinner Ministry

For nearly 20 years, Trinity has served the community through its Thanksgiving Dinner Ministry, often serving between 500-700 Turkey dinners on Thanksgiving Day.  Dinners can be ordered ahead of time for delivery or you may line up in the car line to pick up a dinner in our drive-by service.  No reservations are necessary for pick up.

Volunteers are needed in the week leading up to Thanksgiving to prep the food.  Delivery drivers, servers, and runners are needed on Thanksgiving Day to assist with the distribution of food.  Contact the church office for more information.
